The Farmer in the Dell

Pearson Planning, Chartered Surveyors has obtained planning permission for a agricultural worker’s dwelling, for a cereal crop farmer, on His holding, in the countryside. On realising the famer was staying in a house in the nearby market town, the Planning Officer was not inclined to grant permission. Apparently farms can be run remotely with no labour requirement. Almost as funny as an 1930s american comedy.

Pearson Planning, Chartered Surveyors demonstrated that the business was productive, profitable, sustainable and had more than sufficient labour requirements for on site management. The local planning authority had previously accepted two Prior Notifications for grain stores and these had been built. The grain is supplied to a multi national drinks company for vodka production.

If you have a business in the British countryside, perhaps related to forestry, tourism, agriculture or fisheries, and you consider a house is justified, why not contact Pearson Planning. If you don’t ask…
